FRESH, LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE
FRESH, LOCAL, SUSTAINABLE.
Fresh  The more time a fruit stays on the vine to ripen, the better tasting, more nutritious it becomes.  Therefore we pick our vegetables at the peak of ripeness, as close to delivery date as possible to provide the freshest produce.
Local  We've chosen to only serve our local markets and have limited our range to less than 35 miles.    This allows us to serve our local community better, reduce greenhouse gasses with less travel, and provide a healthier and fresher product.
Sustainable  At the end of each season, our fields and surrounding areas will be healthier and in better condition than the beginning.
To grow top-quality organic vegetables requires top-quality soil.  While we are applying to be certified, we continue to grow according to the organic principles set by Northeast Organic Farmers Association
To produce high quality root vegetable, we must have very deep, healthy, organic soil which we add aged compost and specifically worm compost.  To encourage the proper soil biosphere, we use NO synthetic fertilizer, insecticide, herbicide, or fungicides.

“Organic farming appealed to me because it involved searching for and discovering nature's pathways, as opposed to the formulaic approach of chemical farming. The appeal of organic farming is boundless; this mountain has no top, this river has no end.”
